Nagy Norbert

He graduated from graphic arts at MOME in Budapest, 2003. He currently works as graphic designer and book illustrator. He mixes analog and digital techniques in his illustrations.

"The poetry illutrations of Norbert Nagy are not ostentatious, sometimes they emphasize some aspects of the poems he illustrates (Árpád Kollár: The Mysterious Bird), while in other cases they refer back or predict the lines of poetry, thus their true meaning unfolds only in the entirety of the volume. His figures are not only the usual representations of the characters and objects of the poems, rather he creates a peculiar parallel world of visual images."
